Samick Indonesia History
Samick Muscial Instrument Co. Ltd was established in 1958 and became the first Korean Company to export pianos.
In 1970, Samick started focusing on global expansion. In 1978, a branch office was opened in Los Angeles, USA then in Dusseldorf, Germany.
In 1992, PT Samick Indonesia was established in Cileungsi, Bogor as the raw material producer for music instruments.
With skills and experiences, PT Samick Indonesia started to produce accoustic and electric guitar then followed by upright and grand piano production. In 1996, The Indonesian president recommended PT Samick Indonesia as the top exporter in Indonesia.
Samick is the biggest and oldest piano producer in Korea and ranks third biggest piano seller in the world.
Despite its short history, PT Samick Indonesia has developed into a company with 43 hectares area and 3,000 employees. PT Samick Indonesia has grown into a modern and high quality music instruments manufacturer with a broad export network including Asia-Pacific, Europe and America.
